  1. Hey there!
My villain has developed quite a bit as of late. Here are a few things:

    He's 6'2", 145 - thin, but muscular
He loves slicing into people--of course--but also chocolates that come in heat shaped boxes from drug stores and the smell of fresh cut flowers.
He hates his parents, though they are long since dead, and his job.
He does know he's evil. It's something he grapples with on occasion, as he loves half of what he does. It didn't start out that way. He was just a kid who signed a piece of paper during a party, but that lead to an eternity of hell.
His favorite color is brown, though he's never figured out why.
On his nightstand sits a blade, reading glasses--for appearances only; they make him feel more like an intelligent human--a journal, a glass of water, and a knock off Tiffany lamp he stole.
He carries another blade in his pocket along with grease for his mustache and a rag to wipe off blood.
The most valuable thing he owns is a picture of him and his family before he grew to hate them. He never looks at it, though.

  2. Love it. This guy sounds creepy and damaged, but also a bit vulnerable. I sketched what I thought he might look like, just because you were kind enough to do your homework. Feel free to tell me what I got wrong.

    1. I love, love, love his sketch! His mustache it PERFECT. And those eyes, my goodness. His eyebrows... I never thought to describe them, but now, that's totally going to change. The only thing that's different is his hat. However, I imagine him wearing this hat when he talks to people outside of the freak show--now. The sketch has inspired me, just like your workshop. Thank you so much!

P.S. I can't wait to read your novel!
